I cannot believe this guy! What an idiot! He should be made to pay for the medical testing of all those he came into contact with, then should be slapped in jail for awhile just for being stupid.

If he had intent and knowledge of consequences then he was just guilty as sin. He is a criminal that used his body as a weapon. I hope the facts do not prove this out. Fri morning , sounds like the man was not that contagious. I don't think he was under the impression he could transmit the illness. I think the father in law did not disclose what he knew and something is fishy.

He sould be shot! Seriously, the doctor told him he had a drug ressistant form T.B. and was told to stay home, a self imposed type of quaratine. Nope, he decides to hop a plane to Europe, putting at risk everyone who he has come into contact with, and hang out for a while and then fly back state side. All the airport personel, passengers and crew, hotel and resturant personel in Europe and here. The cavalier attitude and hawdry disreguard for the well being of fellow humans is appauling. And he knows the ramifications to his actions but did it anyway. To knowingly put others lives in danger is as far as I am concerned at least a crime to be dealt with. Whats to stop him from doing it again? Quaritine this arrogant Lawyer in a 8x8 cell in an abandon prison (Alcatraz maybe?) until death or the disease in under control.

There's a Russian guy with a resistent strain of TB being held in an Arizona jail. This isn't the only case. What this issue is, though, is a side effect of mass travel and globalization that we will face from now on.

How about attempted murder. He knowingly put people in danger of contracting a possible fatal disease, and appears to not care. All he thought about was himself. His attempt at an apology is sickening. Something is fishy with this whole thing. His father in law is with the CDC working with TB? Was this an experiment to see how contagious this strain really is? It just doesn't sit right with me.

First, we should try to cure him. He was recently released from quarantine as not being contagious, but that doesn't mean his disease is cured. Secondly, we should provide some training for border guards and security officers to make sure that people known to be infectious are not allowed into this country. He was flagged by the airlines, but security allowed him to go through. It could have been disastrous. Third, we mustn't assume that all people with contagious and dangerous diseases have common sense. This man wanted to get married and claimed the doctors told him he was no risk to anyone...even had a tape to prove it, although why a person would tape his doctors is beyond me. If the doctors had any idea he could have been contagious, they should have slapped into quarantine right then and there. It was a Mack Sennett comedy from beginning to end, a smalltime Katrina, with everyone connected to it botching things up. That seems to be normal for this country these days.

Well, my personal opinion is this there may be more to this I do not trust the cdc I've watched alot of movies and documenturies on the aides epidemic and they did not play flavorable as far as cover-ups and not disclosing the facts soon enough and there have been comments they didn't stand by what they told him.

Leave him alone. It's none of our business unless we were on the plane. I think he has probably been made to pay enough for his stupidity. I am sure he regrets his decision. NO use persucuting the poor guy.

I think is unforgivable knowingly that he has Tuberculosis to travel to all this Country's exposing all the people that he has expose to it is deplorable

First, the truth needs to be established as to what and when he was told and if he was advised not to travel until until lab tests were completed. If he was advised not to travel before he left,he should be required to pay for the tests of the people he may have infected. There is a difference between "advised" and "told" not to travel.
