Your body tries to defend itself through cough. It is trying to expell the microorganisms that are invading your lungs. You may notice a cough, at first with yellow or green mucus and occasionally bloody.

Generally, the primary symptoms of TB are significant weight loss, hemoptysis(coughing up blood), fever, and night sweats. TB can easily be diagnosed with a PPD skin test.
